Map to the Monument at MetraPark
The Montana Pro Rodeo Hall and Wall of Fame ... a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the Montana professional rodeo cowboys and cowgirls who exemplify our rich western heritage. The initial project was the creation of the Montana Pro Rodeo Hall and Wall of Fame Monument Site with the focal point being an 18' bronze sculpture of Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Saddle Bronc Rider Dan Mortensen. In 2003, Dan won his sixth saddle bronc championship, tying the 44 year old record of PRCA Hall of Fame cowboy Casey Tibbs. Dan also won the PRCA World Championship All-Around in 1997. In December, 2008, Dan officially announced that he was retiring. In ceremonies held July 9-11, 2009, in Colorado Springs, CO, Dan was inducted into the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Hall of Fame.
