The Montana Pro Rodeo Hall and Wall of Fame (MPRHWF) is the largest provider of scholarships to high school rodeo participants in the nation. In sixteen years, $635,000 has been awarded to 190 students. The MPRHWF is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the western and rodeo heritage of Montana, as well as providing Montana high school students the opportunity to continue their education.
2022 Scholarship Recipients
The MPRHWF awarded their 2022 collegiate scholarships to deserving high school seniors at The Montana High School Rodeo State Finals in Baker Montana.
These scholarships are awarded based on academics, rodeo participation, community service and need. This year marks the sixteenth year that these scholarships have been awarded to deserving Montana high school rodeo athletes. This year’s recipients are:

- Roan Burrows – Miles City, MT
- Sam Peterson – Helena, MT
- Caden Rhoads – Big Horn, MT
- Grady Larson – Sidney, MT
- Mary Gibson – Havre, MT
- Grace Weining – Belgrade, MT
- Liberty Prowse – Lewistown, MT
- Ashley Parker – Huntley, MT
- Lacey Lawrence – Jordan, MT
- Hailey Gliko – MHSRA Queen – Belt, MT
- Sam Peterson – John Edwards Memorial Scholarship – Helena, MT
The MPRHWF hosts the nation’s leading high school rodeo scholarship program for eligible Montana High School Rodeo seniors wishing to pursue higher education and their interest in rodeo at the college level. Each $3,000 scholarship is paid to an accredited college or university of the student’s choice.
Scholarship recipients are selected by a committee from the Montana High School Rodeo Association (MHSRA), following strict criteria based on grades, rodeo participation, community service, educational plans, and financial need.
Applicants must complete the scholarship application form available on the Montana High School Rodeo Association website and follow the submission instructions.
Payments are made directly to the college or university in the name of the recipient.
